Editor's Notes
The Columbia PFG Slack Tide Camp Shirt is a lightweight button-up designed with outdoor performance fabric that wicks moisture and dries quickly. It's cut in a relaxed camp-shirt silhouette with a straight hem meant to be worn untucked, making it an easy warm-weather option when you want something more polished than a tee but less committal than traditional shirting.
This shirt earns its place in a rotation for guys who spend time near water, travel to humid climates, or simply run warm and find cotton too sticky in summer. The vented back panel and quick-dry fabric make it noticeably more comfortable than standard casual shirts when temperatures climb. It's also treated with UPF sun protection, which matters during long days outside.
The tradeoff is texture: the synthetic fabric has a slightly technical hand compared to linen or cotton poplin, so it reads more active-casual than dressy-resort. But for guys prioritizing function and comfort over a crisp aesthetic, that's the point. It's a shirt you can rinse in a sink, hang-dry overnight, and wear again the next day without thinking twice.
