Editor's Notes
This body scrub combines pumice buffing beads with 10% AHA to tackle bumpy skin from two angles at once. The gritty texture works mechanically while glycolic and lactic acids dissolve the buildup that causes those sandpapery patches on upper arms, thighs, and shoulders. It's formulated specifically for keratosis pilaris, though plenty of people use it just to keep body skin smooth between waxing or shaving.
The texture is thick and requires some elbow work to massage in, which means it's not the lazy shower option. You'll want to use it two to three times a week rather than daily, since the combination of physical and chemical exfoliation can be intense for some skin types. People with very sensitive skin might find it too aggressive, but for stubborn texture issues that haven't responded to gentler lotions alone, the double-duty approach tends to show visible smoothing within a few weeks of consistent use.
