Editor's Notes
This is a pressed powder foundation that sits somewhere between traditional powder compacts and liquid formulas in terms of coverage and finish. It comes in a standard compact with a mirror, and the texture is finely milled enough to build from natural-looking to full coverage depending on how you apply it. The formula is designed to feel lighter on skin than many powder foundations, which can sometimes emphasize texture or look cakey by midday.
It works well for people who prefer the speed and portability of powder but don't want the flat, obviously powdered look. The shade range covers fair to deep tones, though like most drugstore lines, the middle range tends to be more extensive than the extremes. Application is forgiving with either a brush or sponge, and it layers over skincare or primer without grabbing onto dry patches if your skin is reasonably prepped.
The tradeoff is longevity in humid conditions or on very oily skin, where it may need a midday touch-up. It shines in moderate climates and for normal-to-combination skin types who want coverage that doesn't require liquid foundation commitment.
